The project entailed the complete electrical installation following a devastating fire. Services included new general & feature lighting, addressable emergency lighting, high intelligibility speech reinforcement and VESDA fire alarm installations.

St Patrick's Church of Ireland - Church Refurbishment & New Parish Centre, Greystones, Co Wicklow

The project entailed the complete building services design for a new parish centre and the church (a heritage building) for this Church of Ireland Parish. The installations comprise a geothermal heat pump system supplying an underfloor heating installation, ventilation, fire alarm, lighting and emergency lighting, external lighting, CCTV and electrical distribution.

Retirement Home and Office Accommodation, St Joseph’s Missionary Society, The Mill Hill Fathers, Orwell Park, Dublin 6

The project comprised the complete building services design for this large complex. Mechanical installations comprise complete underfloor and radiator heating installations, ventilation installations to 50 No apartments and air handling system to the common dining room, plumbing and soils and wastes installation, commercial kitchen and catering installations. Electrical services include electrical supply and distribution, lighting and external lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm and building energy management system. The project also entailed the creation of a community chapel which also serves he local community.

Church of St Agatha, North William Street, Dublin 1

The project entailed the complete rewiring of this listed Church (built 1908) and the installation of a radio linked fire alarm system, new bespoke lighting and emergency lighting installations. Feature lighting of Sanctuary, statues & shrines. A notable feature of this project was the rationalisation of the electrical services installations and their concealment. The lighting installation is similar to that originally installed in the church but using the latest technology to achieve today’s performance standards.

Capuchin Friary, Raheny, Dublin 5

The project comprised the complete building services design for this large friary for the Capuchin Order. Ground source heat pumps combined with a large evacuated tube solar array supply heat to the underfloor heating installation as well as the domestic hot water systems. A complete heat recovery ventilation installation serving all areas has also been included. Electrical services include electrical supply and distribution, lighting and external lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems. The project also has a large lighting control installation operated on presence / absence detection, automatic daylight sensing as well as scene setting modes in various social areas. The chapel was refurbished during the project with associated upgrades to the heating and lighting installations.

The project entailed the complete rewiring of this listed Church and the installation of a radio linked fire alarm system, refurbishment of existing lighting luminaires using the latest lighting technology integrated into the original fittings and new emergency lighting installations sensitively integrated into the structure as well as complete rewiring of the associated parish hall.

Parish of St Alphonsis & Columba, Ballybrack, Co Dublin Presbytery & Parish Centre

Complete mechanical and electrical services installations to refurbished presbytery and conversion of part of this presbytery to a parish centre (listed building). Specialist lighting installations in keeping with the original luminaires. Underfloor heating throughout as the listed nature of the building ruled out the addition of insulation and the replacement of windows.

Car park lighting. The central heating plant was replaced, asbestos removed and a separate heating installation was provided to serve the sacristy areas.

The Clients were The Select Vestry of Christ Church (COI) and the Romanian Orthodox Church in Ireland. The project entailed the complete rewiring of the listed church and the installation of a new fire alarm system, new bespoke lighting and emergency lighting installations. The lighting was designed to accommodate the different liturgical requirements of the Church of Ireland and the Romanian Orthodox Church

The new parish centre incorporates all building services installations or the social, office, kitchen and welfare areas.
